My Beauty Bay Wish List and More…

I would say I am a makeup fanatic, due to my extreme love and desire for makeup. It is extremely depressing that I am unable to purchase all that I want. One day I would like to have a whole drawer full of sexiest highlighters to ever exist. Maybe that only exists in makeup heaven.
To be quiet frank, I would definitely not say I’m great at putting make up on, but hey I’m learning gradually.
I do kind of envy those who can do the whole full face shebang without messing up a million times. Like… Have you seen NikkieTutorials make up, it’s ALWAYS FLAWLESS! And that highlighter slays.ūüĒ™

Nikkie is someone I look up to as she is one of the Queen’s of Make Up, no doubt about it.
I think first and foremost, I need to take care of my skin more often possibly by drinking way more water and using natural products to improve my skin. With my psoriasis my skin does tend to get very dry, which usually causes my make up to look, well… not always great.

Well… now I’m just babbling on.

I wanted to talk about my Make Up Wish List. Recently I noticed on Beauty Bay’s Instagram page, they uploaded this picture:

Anything to do with Free Make Up and I’m in.

So, this is my Beauty Bay Wish List 2016.

So, the first thing I chose was the Anastasia Beverly Hill‘s Dipbrow Pompade in the colour Medium Brown. This is my go to, for every day use. It is extremely easy to use and it glides on to the eyebrows smoothly. I fell in love with it the first time I used it, it is the very best product for my brows, I swear by it and can’t live without it. It goes on smooth, once one stays on all day. It looks really natural and the great thing is that it is waterproof. Blends so easily making it the perfect product for your brows.

The Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipsticks are products which I have been dying for, a product that has been highly recommended by many of my friends. For ¬£11.50 it’s clearly a bargain! The products are light in texture, dense in colour, heavy on staying power and dries to a¬†long-lasting matte finish. It is supposed to simultaneously hydrate and moisturise the lips whilst giving it a pop of colour.¬†I am loving these shades of matte liquid lipstick. Personally, on a bi-daily basis I would go for lighter shades of lipstick. Although I am a major fan of the red’s, dark purples and even black, nude to light shades are my go to’s. The shades I chose were: Everything Nice – which is a pale coffee beige. Serenity – which is a Rose pink neutral. Mocha – which is a Mocha-toned nude; and Ruby Slipper – which is a Dark rouge.

Another brand of Liquid Matte Lipstick I have chosen is Lime Crime; the reviews for this lipstick are highly recommending. The lipstick is highly pigmented with a luxurious velvet finish. It claims to be provide a smudge proof matte finish and is meant to be easily applicable. The  colours I have chosen are as follows: Cashmere РDusty Lilac with nude undertones. Red Velvet Рa True Red, and Riot Рproviding a creamy Mauve colour. Another positive note would be that the lipstick is cruelty free and suitable for vegans!

Next I chose two different products from Illamasqua – a brand that I have tried and tested; I have to say it is an amazing brand and has a lot of amazing products. So, two weeks ago, I saw this product in Selfridges Oxford Street, and I instantly fell in Love: The Illamasqua Beyond Powder, in the shade OMG. Like I mentioned before, if I could have a drawer full of a bunch of amazing Highlighters, I would be set for life. The powder provides a subtle shimmer to the complexion. It is a perfect highlighter, with its lightweight, creamy texture which is suitable to all skin types and tones.

Beyond Powder in shade OMG – provides a delicate champagne shimmer.

The next Illamasqua product is the Gel Sculpt. This is an innovative contouring stick which creates natural defining and contouring effects. It has a light gel texture and¬†a water resistant formula – perfect for contouring for a long day out. The gel consistency also helps the product blend ‘like a dream’. It creates “natural hollowing and sculpting of the face for chiselled cheekbones and facial structure you would die for”. The shade: Silhouette – Sheer sophisticated coffee shade for natural contouring effects.

Next is another highlighter called Skin Frost, this time by Jeffree Star Cosmetics. Personally I have never used any products by Jeffree Star Cosmetics, however I am aware that the products they create are outstanding. From my understanding, this highlighter is perfect for many skin tones; it works well for light skin tones too. It is a Holy Grail to many that use it. Skin Frost is a lightweight, super blendable powder  hat glides effortlessly onto the face, body and eyes for a truly glowing look. It provides an eye-catching luminous finish.

The shade I chose is: Peach Goddess Рwhich is a crushed pearly pink. And it comes  with a mirror!

I also chose the Morphe Brushes Р681 18 Piece Sable Brush Set. This brand is my go to for eyeshadow palettes and make up brushes. I currently have 5 brushes (only), two MB11 Angle Eyeliner Brush, the M164 Small Flat Angled Contour Brush, theM458 1in Flat Contour Brush and the M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush from Morphe Brushes and I recently purchased the Morphe Brushes 35T Р35 Colour Taupe Palette (£21.00) all from The brushes and palette are beyond perfect. The 18 piece Brush set is perfect addition to my small collection, they are stunningly luxurious brushes designed to deliver a flawless finish for the makeup. Each brush in this fabulous collection is specially designed for a certain area of the face.

Collection Contains:

A few things I do really want aren’t actually available on the Beauty Bay website, so I will mention them below. I have actually been wanting a Kylie (Kylie Cosmetics) Lip Kit by Kylie Jenner for quite some time now. Regardless of what anyone says, I have to give it to Kylie, the girl is a talented businesswoman. And in my opinion she is hella gorgeous.

Moon – Matte Liquid Lipstick by Kylie Cosmetics – a Taupy-nude.

The colours are gorgeous and the Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipsticks are ultra-long and have a creamy texture that glides across the lips for a very easy and comfortable application. The Matte Lipstick has high intensity pigment for an instant bold matte lip. The extremely long wearing lipstick contains moisturising ingredients for a comfortable, emollient and silky feel that does not dry your lips out.

I know I didn’t add all of the products on my wish list, but you get the gist of it.

That’s all for now.

Thank you for reading my lovelies!Xxx

Please like and subscribe, I would really appreciate it.
